"I’m co-writing a lot of the songs just like on my last album; my influences come from my experiences in life and travels. My last album didn’t have the success we had with the first album so I took a backseat with recording for awhile. The landscape of the music industry has changed dramatically. The last 14 months have been growing pains. For me it’s good to be inspired again to write more and keep the ball rolling. I realize how fortunate I am to do this and be creative again.

"It's funny. I may be releasing the album in Japan before I release it here. I’m just fortunate to have a market there for my music."

Look! Somebody else that doesn't know how to spell Elliott's name! They did at least post a 4 minute podcast interview with him. He talks a little bit about changing managers. He also mentions how good American Idol has been to him, but he doesn't talk up his upcoming appearance to be anything special. My expectation? Idol cheese.

Elliott is making the rounds talking about the good old days on Idol. Here's an interview published by Reality Wanted. He said: I'm in the studio writing and recording my third album. I'm doing a few shows here and there. I've gotten some cool opportunities. I sang the national anthem at a Lakers game Wednesday night which was awesome. I'm a huge Lakers fan.

I want to think he was looking for his favorite blogger, but instead he talked to the folks at the KCLD Playhouse in St. Cloud. You can find a podcast on their home page.
